Shape Tool
Shape window is an essential window tool for color and texture manipulation on your objects.
Shape Tool Basics
Its options are catalogued to Brush, Pen and Color Picker Type. This window is by default open; nevertheless you can close or open it again by selecting Window menu and then (un)check Shape.

Pen
Pen Size
In this edit box you can change the width of a pen outline on an object. Numerical values range from 1 to 10.
Pen Color
In color selection spectrum you can choose preferred color of the pen. You can adjust the presence/absence of light in the selected color by using the slider below the selection spectrum. You can also use four edit boxes to choose the color more precisely or use the Alpha blending option. In first three edit boxes, labeled R (for red), G (green) and B (blue), you can change the values, ranging from 0 to 255, by typing desired value directly, or by using the appropriate slider.
Pen Style
In this menu you can choose different pen line styles. Available styles are:
- None
- Solid
- Dash
- Dot
- DashDot
- DashDotDot
- Brush
- Brush Type
By left-clicking the small black triangle right of Brush label you can change fill color for the shapes that will be drawn afterwards or selected shapes. There are five types: None, Solid, Linear, Radial, and Bitmap. If Brush type is None than the shape will lose or have no fill. If Brush type is Solid than the fill will be single colored. Brush type Linear means that shape will be filled from left to right with several colors (minimum two) that transition smoothly from one another. Brush type Radial means that shape will be filled from center to edge with several colors (minimum two) that transition smoothly from one another. Finally, Bitmap type means that shape will be filled with bitmap picture you select. None – for no presence of brush at all Linear – straight line phasing between two selectable colors Radial – circular phasing between two selectable colors Bitmap – choose custom image file for brush1.

Color picker type
You can use this menu to change the way of selecting preferred pen or brush color. At your disposal you have 15 different color picker types for customized selection.
- Basic colors
- Hue, saturation and luminance – mixer, basic hue and roller
- Red, green and blue – cube and mixer
- Gray scale mixer
- Cyan, magenta and yellow – cube and mixer
- Axis – red, green, blue, cyan, magenta and yellow
